Join our fun and relaxed Beginner Sewing Class perfect for those just starting out or those who haven't sewn in a while! Whether you've never threaded a needle or need a refresher, we'll guide you step by step. Bring your own machine or use one of ours!
Just Add Water! with Dot Goulet April 11, 1-4pm
Join us for a watercolor workshop designed for beginners, returning painters, and anyone who wants focused time to practice with guidance. Skill grows through practice, and watercolor offers an inviting, versatile way to explore painting without feelin overwhelmed. We'll work wih brush and water control, color mixing, water-soluble media, expressive paint strokes, and a variety of techniques to build confidence and control. All materials for class use are provided, and optional take-home kits will be available for continued practice.
Planning an Herbal Garden With Sarah Auer April 18, 10:30-11:30am
Growing our own medicinal herbs can be fun and rewarding. At times, it can also be challenging. Luckily, there are plenty of wonderful medicinal and culinary herbs that are easy even for the most novice growers to succeed. If you’re new to herb gardening, this class is for you!
Join Sarah Auer, community herbalist, to learn how to create medicinal and culinary herbs gardens. We will explore which plants to choose for your specific location and desires. Bring your questions and imagination and leave with the knowledge and inspiration to begin growing or expanding your own herbal garden. Each participant will leave with helpful handouts, resources, a garden design and seeds to get you started.
